Abstract :
ABSTRAK Hertin Biya 911 409 155. 2013, “Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Melalui Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) Pada Mata Pelajaran Merencanakan dan Mengelola Pertemuan Rapat di kelas XI APK A SMK Negeri I Suwawa” Skripsi. Konsentrasi Pendidikan Perkantoran Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Jurusan Pendidikan Ekonomi, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Pembimbing I Bapak Dr. H. Rosman Ilato, M.Pd dan Pembimbing II Bapak Drs. Maha Atma Kadji, M.Si. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini didasarkan pada rumusan masalah apakah dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share pada pembelajaran Merencanakan dan mengelola pertemuan rapat dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas XI APK A SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 26 orang. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari variabel input, proses, dan output. Tahapan penelitian terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diperoleh adalah lembar pengamatan untuk menilai kegiatan guru, lembar pengamatan untuk menilai kegiatan siswa, dan lembar tes untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data dilaksanakan secara kuantitatif pada setiap akhir siklus pembelajaran dengan menggunakan data hasil observasi kegiatan guru dan aktivitas siswa serta data hasil belajar siswa. Sebagai kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah hipotesis penelitian yang berbunyi: Jika guru menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Phair Share pada Mata Pelajaran Merencanakan dan Mengelola Pertemuan Rapat di Kelas XI APK A, Maka hasil belajar siswa akan meningkat, dengan indikator kinerja jumlah siswa yang memperoleh nilai 75% meningkat dari 40.75% menjadi 80%, dapat diterima karena didukung dengan hasil analisis data: 1) siswa yang mmperoleh hasil belajar minimal 75 meningkat dari 42.30% hasil observasi awal menjadi 57.7% hasil siklus I dan meningkat lagi menjadi 84.62% hasil siklus II, 2) hasil pengamatan kegiatan guru yang termasuk pada kategori sangat baik dan baik meningkat dari 43.33% siklus I menjadi 86.66% pada siklus II, dan 3) hasil pengamatan kegiatan siswa yang termaksud pada kategori sangat baik dan baik meningkat 73.91% siklus I menjadi 91.3% hasil siklus II. The principal supervisor was Dr. H. Rosman Ilato, M.Pd and the co-superviosr was Drs. Maha Atma kadji, M.Si. This research formulated a question of whether the applying cooperative learning model Think Pair Share type on subject of meeting plan and management can increase student’s achievement in the second grade of APK A SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa. This research applied classroom action research. Research subject was 26 people. Research variable consisted of input, process, and output variables. Research stages consisted of plan, application, observation, and reflection. Form of data gained through data collection process were observation sheet of assessing teacher’s activity, observation sheet of assessing student’s activity, and testing sheet of measuring the increase of student’s achievement. Data analysis was conducted quantitatively on observation result of teacher’s activity, student’s activity, and student’s achievement for every closing learning cycle. To sum up this research is through regarding research hypothesis to be stated that if teachers apply cooperative learning model think pair share type on subject of meeting plan and management in the second grade of APK A, student’s achievement will increase by verifying some indicators such as student’s performance who gained 75 % increased from 40.75 % to 80 %, therefore it is accepted. It was regarding to the data analysis which are: 1) students gained score 75 increased from 42.30 % as observation phase to 57.7 % in the first cycle and increased 84.62 % in the second cycle; 2) observation output on teacher’s activity as categorized into good and best increased 43.33 % in the first cycle to 86.66 % in the second cycle, and; 3) observation output on student’s activity as categorized into good and best increased 73.91 % in the first cycle to become 91.3 % in the second cycle.
