MUHAMMAD REZKY DWIPUTRA PULUNGAN. A.1710918. Growth and
yield of peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.) in the administration of Azolla pinnata
and coconut water guided by Oktavianus. LT and Yanyan Mulyaningsih.
This research to determine the effect of giving Azolla pinnata doses and different
concentrations of coconut water on the growth and yield of peanut plants. This
study uses factorial Randomized Complete Design (CRD). The first treatment is
the Azolla pinnata application which consists of four levels, namely (0% mmt),
(1% mmt), (1.5% mmt), and (2% mmt). The second treatment is the dose of
soaking the seeds with coconut water which consists of four levels, namely (seeds
not soaked), (seeds soaked for 6 hours), (seeds soaked for 12 hours) and (seeds
soaked for 24 hours). The treatment of Azolla pinnata application and soaking of
coconut water seeds had a significant effect on plant height, leaf number, leaf
area, fresh and dry weight of canopy and plant roots, number of pods, percentage
of empty and empty pods, and number of root nodules. The effect of Azolla
pinnata treatment and coconut water immersion were significantly interacted on
plant height variables in 8 MST planting age and fresh weight of peanut plant
roots. While the variables that did not have significant effect on the Azolla pinnata
treatment and soaking coconut milk on the pod weight of peanut plants. This
shows that the use of Azolla pinnata can be used as additional fertilizer, and the
seeds can be soaked with coconut water.
