BUSINESS SUCCESS THROUGH ENTREPRENEURSHIP ORIENTANCE AND
BUSINESS MOTIVATION APPROACH IN SMALL AND MEDIUM MICRO INDUSTRY
SNACK IN SUKABUMI CITY
ABSTRACK
This study aims to determine and identify the influence of entrepreneurial orientation and
business motivation, either simultaneously or partially on business success in the micro, small
and medium-sized snack food industry in Sukabumi City. Questionnaire data were obtained
from 100 business actors using purposive sampling technique. The questionnaire was tested
with validity tests, reliability tests, and also classical assumptions. The results of these tests
are valid, reliable to be used for regression data. The analytical method used in this research
is descriptive and verification method. The results showed that the variables of
entrepreneurial orientation and business motivation both simultaneously and partially had a
positive and significant effect on business success in the micro, small and medium snack
industry in Sukabumi City. The test results of the coefficient of determination (r2) 56.8%
while the rest of the other factors that affect 43.2%. The relationship between entrepreneurial
orientation, business motivation on business success is strong with a correlation coefficient of
0.754.
