Abstract :
Chekdam is a small dam with a simple construction made in a ravine or small river. The barrier embankment functions to control sediment and surface runoff from the catchment area above it. The Chekdam Development Planning System in the Kali Bogel River Tributary by looking at the hydrological conditions of the field, planning the Chekdam at the point of the Bogel River tributary is planned in the Bogel River Basin, which is located in Sutojayan District, Blitar Regency, East Java Province. This study aims to determine the maximum rainfall, design flood discharge, the building capacity of the Chekdam and the location of the Chekdam. By using the Log Person Type III method, the maximum rainfall in Blitar Regency reaches 2.03 mm / s (data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, Kab. Blitar), so that the design or field flood discharge in the Bogel River is 19,631 m3 / second and an alternative flood control building plan is obtained using a height of 1.5m, 4m wide, 0.13% original slope, 31.25 m long, the check dam building can accommodate sedimentation of 93.25 m3 per location of the basin design points so that 3 points of reservoir locations will be planned in the tributary of the Kali Bogel River. Keywords: Chekdam building, Log Person Type III Method, Maximum Rainfall, Sedimentation Capacity
