Abstract :
The Golo Bridge in Tumpakoyot Blitar is part of a national project to build the alternative and fast routes in the Southern Java?s alternative route. The Golo Bridge also connects the two regions, Blitar Regency and Tulungagung Regency, and has an important role in social and economic aspects for both these two areas and other connected areas.The existing of Golo bridge is a bridge with a prestressed concrete type-I girder (PC-I Girder) as the structure with dimensions of 40 m long and 11 m wide. In this final project, the authors re-plan or modify it to become a bridge with a steel plate girder structure by dividing it into 2 spans, each of which has a dimension of 20 m long, while the width of the bridge is fixed at 11 m. In the planning started with collecting existing data to be processed in the analysis calculation. Preliminary design is intended to determine the dimensions of the initial structure. Followed by giving loads to the structure and controlling the structure's ability to load. The analysis continued for the substructure in the form of abutments and bridge pillars. The bridge foundation is assumed to have the same ability to load the plan so that it continues to use the existing foundation. From the analysis, it is found that the dimensions of the steel plate girder have a profile of 2500. 700. 14. 40 mm. Meanwhile, the abutment has a total height of 5.70 m, a width of 4.50 m and a length of 9.50 m. The bridge pillars have a total height of 6.20 m, a width of 6.20 m and a length of 9.50 m.
