Abstract :
The risk factors for coronary heart disease is coused by the formation of wall plaque blood vessel. Bawang Dayak (eleutherine americana merr) is one of medicinal plant that has potential as anti-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory, through the content of Eleutherin and Eleutherol which a Napthaquinone type. Eleutherol, Eleutherin, and Isoeleutherin contained in the Dayak Onion extract can be used for the manufacture of heart medicine tablets, namely angina pectoris drugs. This study used virtual screening, to found anti-coronary heart drug compounds researcher used database from Dayak Onion plant. The type of this study used Docking molecular method, to determine the mechanism and affinity of Eleutherin and Eleutherol to the protein that can trigger plaque formation in blood vessel in the coronary heart with NF-Kb protein using the autodock 4.2 computational program, through an in silico Docking process. Based on the test results, that the test compounds Eleutherin and Eleutherol in Dayak Onions had anti-inflammatory activity with the lower the bond energy value between Eleutherin and Eleutherol with NF-Kß (-), and then the interaction between Eleutherin and Eleutherol with NF-Kß was getting stronger. Thus, the two test compounds have the potential to inhibited the action of NF-kB in the inflammatory process and Eleutherol has the potential to inhibited plaque formation in coronary heart disease because it has an affinity for NF-KB protein as indicated by the binding energy obtained, namely -7.57 and Eleuterol -6,63, with the result that can be concluded these compounds are able to prevent inflammation in plaque formation in silico.
