Abstract :
Concrete is one of the construction components used in buildings, bridges or roads. In this study I learned to make concrete that is lighter than normal concrete, that is by using light cement with a weight of 0%, 10% 20%, 30%, 40% of the volume of sand and talc powder weighing 8% of the volume of cement. The strength targeted in this study is k-225. Meanwhile, the results of this study are the value of concrete compressive strength which is increased by the target set k-225 to be k-400 in one of the normal concrete samples and has an average of k-360. 10% 20%, 30%, 40% and 8% talc powder increase with each average yield of k-294, k271, k-251, and k-225. To check arbsorption of concrete samples check the average increase in immersion 1 hour 0.0016%, 4 hours 0.0027% and 24 hours 0.0047%. For the results of testing the type of weight, from each variation of test specimens 1 - 5 the resolution decreases 2.26, 2.24, 2.23, 2.16 and 2.028 then the one with the lowest specific gravity is variation 5 concrete with a variation of the average specific gravity 2,028.
