Abstract :
This Research aims to determine the mixture of light brick and asbestos used 6% obtained from a percentage of 0.882%. for light brick and asbestos used from 100%. A mixture of light brick and asbestos used 8% obtained a percentage of 1.169% of 100%. A mixture of light brick and asbestos used 10% obtained a percentage of 1.454% of 100%. And the results of the concrete compressive test with a normal mixture and a mixture of light brick and asbestos used as a mixture of fine aggregate at 28 days have a different average, the average compressive strength value in normal concrete reaches K-100 while the compressive strength with a mixture of light bricks and used asbestos with a mixture of 6% reaches K-182.21 and for mixes 8% reaches K-220.73 and for mixes 10% reaches K-210.36. So that it is enough to exceed the desired target of K-100.And the results of the paving block research with a mixture of light brick and used asbestos in addition to fine aggregate.In obtaining the value of absorption with successive time ¼ hours, 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours the results were 2977,3,748, 3,940, 4,607. Whereas with a mixture of 6% the results obtained were 4392, 4851, 5074, 5888. And 8% amounted to 3510, 4548, 4770, 5437. While the 10% mixture got the results of 2659, 3577, 3800, 4466. So that it can absorb concrete values with the addition of light brick and used asbestos has an absorption value higher than the absorption value in normal concrete.
