Abstract :
All construction projects generally have a specific implementation plan and schedule, whilst the project implementation has to start, when the project has to be finished, how the project will be carried out, and how the resources will be provided. Therefore, we need careful and good planning to implement the project to use resources efficiently. This study aims to determine, identify, and analyze the effectiveness of the use of the Precedence Diagram Method (PDM) and Critical Path Method (CPM) on resource allocation and alignment in project scheduling. By comparing the analysis of the application of the two methods (PDM & CPM) with the implementation schedule (time schedule s-curve). The results of the discussion with the help of Microsoft Project 2016, are as follows: with the PDM method the results of the project duration are 75 WD and the total cost is Rp. time s-curve time duration is 80 WD. So scheduling with the PDM method is 2 WD faster and more able to save costs of Rp. 36,624,076, - when compared to the CPM method. Meanwhile, for the time schedule s-curve, the PDM method is 5 WD faster.
