Abstract :
Missa Orni Anita, 2021, Thesis “the value of lopo of meto traditional house at tapenpah village.†Thesis English Study Program, Timor Unversity. Advesiors (1) Drs Anselmus Sahan, M.Pd(2) Febronia Lasi, S.Pd M.Ed. The This study is entitled the value of lopo of meto traditional house at Tapenpah village. The objective of the study to answer the two problems such as: fistly: what are the value of lopo at TapenpahVillage? Secondly: what are the symbol of lopo at TapenpahVillage. The method used in this study is descriptive method. To obtain the data needed, the write goes down to field research and heaving recording, interview, and documentation. Research Design this method isused to analyze data that is from of presentation and describes the real fact to into sentence. about the Value of Lopo of meto traditional house atTapenpahVillage to get the good information, the writer must be able to get the best informant that giving about the legend. Instrument is the important element that used by the writer to get the data in this study, the writer used interview method and tape recorder to collect the data from the informant, in the interview point that the writer asks some questions about the value of Lopo . to get the pure information. Procedures used by the writer to collect the data are as follows: 1. Library Research In library research is the writer learn some books and materials in the library to develop her knowledge to finishing this thesis. 2. Field Research The writer prepared some questions to interview the informants to get the data about Symbols of Lopo . This procedure is used by the writer to prepare at least of questioner to interview the informant to get the data about value of Lopo. After the writer get the data, the writer uses the method description to analyze the data. The method is qualitative method and it is used to describe of value of lopo. The next steps are follows: Transcription Transforming oral literature, in this study into written literature. In this study by describing the original text value of lopo.
