Abstract :
ABSTRACT The industrial sector in Indonesia is growing very rapidly every year and one of them is in the automotive industry. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing 5S on product quality at PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor. For data analysis using statistical tests of calculations using multiple regression analysis which is calculated using the Statistic Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program. This research uses quantitative analysis. The data obtained from the questionnaire given to PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor were 66 respondents. Based on the results of the research that has been done, that the seiri variable has no effect on product quality, the seiton variable has no effect on product quality, the seiso variable has no effect on product quality, the seiketsu variable has no effect on product quality, and the shitsuke variable has no effect on product quality. The coefficient of determination of 51.1% means that together Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke affect the quality of the product and the remaining 48.9% is influenced by other factors.
