Abstract :
The Persija Jakarta football fan community or commonly known as The Jak Mania does not only exist in Indonesia. Japan is one of the countries that has Persija Jakarta football fans named The Jaksakura. The purpose of the study was to determine the role of communication group The Jaksakura in forming cohesiveness in Japan. Qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results of the discussion that group communication in forming the community cohesiveness of The Jaksakura can be seen from group activities such as watching together, futsal tournaments, anthems or chants, large deliberations. Have the same soul or feeling as they both live in Japan, both like Persija, and are proud to use Persija's attributes. Get the privilege to pick up players and get a lot of relationships. Helping fellow human beings by holding activities in the form of social assistance both internally and externally, increasing the sense of nationalism by holding red and white flag ceremonies and staying in touch even though the residences of the members are in different cities. This is evidenced by the addition of the number of members each year. The author advises The Jaksakura, to increase social strength, unity in groups, attractiveness and group cooperation, the goal is to build a more cohesive community, and can be used as an example for communities that exist abroad.
