Abstract :
ABSTRACT IMPLEMENTATION OF LAW NUMBER 35 OF 2014 CONCERNING AMANDMENTS OF LAW NUMBER 23 OF 2002 CONCERNING CHILD PROTECTION IN BEKASI REGENCY Noer Kholis Data from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection shows that the number of child violence cases in West Java has reached 819 cases, of which Bekasi Regency is included in top three of highest child violence in West Java Province. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of Law number 35 of 2014 regarding amendments to Law number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection in Bekasi Regency was carried out. Qualitative research was conducted by analyzing 6 (six) aspects according to Van Meter and Van Horn (1975), namely policy measures and standards; resource; characteristics of implementing agents; attitude/tendency of the implementers; communication between organizations and social, economic and political conditions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection is well implemented in terms of policy measure and standards; characteristics of implementing agents; attitude/tendency of the implementers; communication between organizations. Improvement are needed in the aspects of resources and social, economic and political conditions so that child protection in Bekasi Regency can run optimally.
