Abstract
Speaking skills are very important for elementary school students to learn, because speaking
can train students' courage to express opinions. The problem that occurs is the lack of
interest of students in speaking, students are not trained in speaking, teachers have not tried
learning models that attract students to express their opinions. So that the cooperative
script learning model can be used as an alternative and solution in overcoming students'
speech skills problems. This study aims to examine the use of cooperative script learning
models on students' speaking skills in Indonesian subjects in elementary schools. The
research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) from 10 journals derived
from the google scholar database. The results and discussion of the application of the
cooperative script learning model to the speaking skills of students in elementary schools, in
the high class and in the low class there are similarities in the learning steps but the final
results in the high and low grades are different, in the high grades obtained an average
result of 84.2 while in the low grades obtained an average result of 83.5. From the average
results obtained, the cooperative script learning model is more recommended to be applied in
high grades, this is because students who have been in high grades will have high
concentration power. The recommendations for the application of the cooperative script
learning model by role playing, with the existence of role playing (role playing) students
become trained in speaking and can express their opinions orally. So that the teacher can
know the extent of students' understanding of the material.
