Abstract :
Factors that decrease the level of subjective well-being (Subjective Well-being) because children cannot control their emotions, lack of confidence in their abilities, self-esteem is closely related to a decrease in the risk of psychosocial problems including decreased levels of subjective well-being ( Subjective Welfare) for children with special needs. This study aims to determine how the description of students' subjective well-being. The research method used by the researcher is experimental research with the research design of The One Group Pretest-Post test with 15 experimental groups as subjects. Data obtained by conducting interviews, observations, formative test results, and the results of measuring psychological scales.The results showed that the research hypothesis was accepted after conducting the T-test. The results of the paired sample t-test before and after being given treatment in the form of self-esteem training obtained the results of N = 15, t value = -11573, and p value = 0.000 (p< 0.005), so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the level of subjective well-being before and after being given training in the experimental group. After being given treatment in the form of self-esteem training in the experimental group, the level of subjective well-being in the experimental group was high or increased. Correlation test states that there is a relationship between self-esteem and subjective well-being.
