Abstract :
This study aims to determine whether the play approach to improve the learning outcomes of passing down. The method used in this research is classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles, each cycle starting with planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is class V SDN Tebet Barat 03 Tebet, South Jakarta. totaling 22 people. Data were collected from the results of observations and learning test results. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student learning outcomes, as evidenced in the first cycle who complete learning reaches 13 students or 59.09% with an average value of 76. In the second cycle reaches 18 students or 81.82% with an average value of 82.7. In addition, the play approach can increase student activity in learning passing down. Thus, it can be concluded that an effective play approach can improve student learning outcomes in learning passing down in fifth grade students at SD Tebet Barat 03 Tebet, South Jakarta.
