Abstract :
This study discusses first how change management strategies improve teacher performance at Al-Magfirah High School. Second, the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for change management strategies in improving teacher performance at Al-Magfirah High School
This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by using data collection methods of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique stage includes data reduction, data presentation and data verification, while checking the reliability of the data is carried out by extending participation, observing accuracy, triangulation and consulting with supervisors.
The results of the research are 1) Change management strategies in improving teacher performance in improving teacher performance by increasing discipline (time discipline, rules and social), providing motivation, supervising and providing examples 2.) The driving factors for change management strategies in improving teacher performance include Routine guidance of school principals in supervision and monitoring and evaluation, building a shared commitment to building management loyalty, providing exemplary teachers in their performance while the inhibiting factor is the lack of school facilities and individual constraints including teacher welfare which affects the interests of each teacher.
