ABSTRACT Implementation of Total Quality Management in Improving the Performance of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Teachers at the Integrated Islamic Kindergartenn Cahaya Hati Bekasi City Erna Hastuti Master of Islamic Education Management Unisma Bekasi ernahastuti@gmail.com Professional teachers who play a role in educating early childhood to reach their stage of development. Therefore, PAUD teachers are required to be professional. But the low competence of teachers so that the impact is less than optimal learning. So that a strategy is needed to improve teacher performance, one of which is TQM, namely improving the quality of education through continuous and gradual improvements in all components of education. This study aims to determine the Total Quality Management program at TKIT Cahaya Hati Bekasi City, the performance of teachers at TKIT Cahaya Hati Bekasi City. Implementation of Total Quality Management in improving the performance of early childhood education (PAUD) teachers at TKIT Cahaya Hati Bekasi City, obstacles and solutions for implementing Total Quality Management in improving teacher performance at TKIT Cahaya Hati Bekasi City. This research is a qualitative research that uses pedagogical, psychological, sociological, and normative theological approaches. Sources of data, namely primary data sourced from the head of the foundation, principals, kindergarten teachers, parents of students. Meanwhile, secondary data were taken from documents related to the research. The instrument used in collecting data is the researcher himself whose function is to determine and select informants as data sources, analyze data, interpret data, and the instruments in collecting data are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that TQM at TKIT Cahaya Hati Bekasi City was well organized. The Total Quality Management program at TKIT Cahaya Hati Bekasi City is carried out professionally according to TQM principles, including 1) Focusing on teachers, 2) Involvement of people. 3) Measurement. 4) Education as a System. 5) Continuous improvement so that it has an impact on teacher performance at TKIT Cahaya Hati Bekasi City through the form of quality work, timeliness of completing work, ability to complete work, ability to foster cooperation with any party.
