STRATEGI MADRASAH DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PEDULI SOSIAL DI MTS DARUNNIDA CIKARANG TIMUR ? BEKASI Penulis : DEDE SULAEMAN NPM : 41189903190014 ABSTRACT (bahasa Inggris) The current multi-dimensional crisis is being experienced by the Indonesian people, so that it has an impact on the destruction of the nation's morale. Various cases of crime are increasingly rampant and systematically carried out by unscrupulous state officials who should be role models, on the contrary, become traitors to the nation. Various cases of corruption and mafia crimes seem to never stop, various policies that actually make people miserable and Islamophobia. These various crises also have an impact on people's lifestyles that are increasingly individualistic and apathetic, so that the sense of togetherness and empathy becomes more fragile. As an effort to improve the nation's future, madrasas as Islamic educational institutions must be consistent in creating students who are faithful, devoted and have good character as the educational goals contained in the National Education System number 20 of 2003 that "National education functions to develop abilities and shape dignified character and national civilization in the context of educating the nation's life, aims to develop the potential of students to become human beings who believe and fear God Almighty, have noble character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent and become democratic citizens and responsible". The strategies used to make it happen are through: Example, Advice, Habituation, Conditioning, Reward and Reprimand. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the social care character formation of students at MTs Darunnida Cikarang Timur - Bekasi which is integrated in learning, extra-curricular activities and madrasa culture. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the formation of the social care character of students at MTs Darunnida Cikarang Timur - Bekasi requires integration in activities in Madarasa.
