Abstract :
A quality savings product is one of the factors that can affect the saving mint.
In offering products, it must be accompanied by satisfactory service so that it will
give trust to customers
This study aims to look at the strategy of saving interest at BJB Syariah
Pondok Gede using the SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) method.
The research used by the author is descriptive qualitative in the form of interviews
plus library research to strengthen the results of the study.
Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews with the Branch
Head, funding officer, customer service and documentation. To analyze the data,
qualitative analysis techniques were used using a SWOT approach and were
analyzed with the stages of data collection, data presentation, conclusion drawing,
and SWOT analysis.
The results of the analysis using the swot matrix get 9 alternative strategies,
the SO strategy gets 3 alternative strategies which contain increasing product
development and service at BJB Syariah and increasing fees for products that have a
high selling value. The WO strategy gets 2 alternative strategies, including adding an
optimal marketing network through social media. The ST strategy has 2 alternative
strategies including conducting Islamic socialization such as services and
promotions. And finally, the WT strategy gets 2 alternative strategies, including
optimizing human resources in the technology sector to create new things that attract
