This study aims to determine how much influence the Mind Mapping Method has on learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education and Morals at SMK PGRI 1 Tambun Selatan. This research is motivated by the use of learning methods at SMK PGRI 1 Tambun Selatan, the learning methods used are less varied so that learning outcomes are less than optimal, as well as the use of conventional methods and have not used active learning methods. This study uses quantitative methods. The type of research used is Quasi Experiment, which is a method that has a control group but does not fully function to control external variables that affect the implementation of the experiment, so that the causal relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable becomes clear. In the learning process, there needs to be a method that helps teachers to convey messages and materials to students. Associated with various kinds of active learning methods that exist. The author wants to use the Mind Mapping method. The Mind Mapping method is a method used by teachers to explain learning material, students are involved in an active learning process, namely reading, understanding, drawing and pouring learning material into paper with colored pencils to make it more interesting. By choosing the right method, it can make it easier for teachers to convey material directly to students so that students can more easily understand and digest the material being delivered.
