Abstract :
Packaging is to protect the product and besides that the packaging is also to attract the attention of customers with attractive packaging, and packaging is also to maintain security during the shipping process. The purpose of this study was to design primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging for catfish skin crackers. The author also aims to design this packaging to increase sales of catfish skin crackers, packaging also affects sales of catfish better known by consumers In this study the author uses the SWOT analysis method. The SWOT analysis method is a tool to collect data to be studied. And design, the author uses the method of Design Thinking. Design Thinking is a method with a solution-based approach. In this study, the author uses a qualitative method. Qualitative method is a research method that is more focused on the situation or phenomena being studied. And in the design, the author uses the design thinking design method. Design Thinking is a method with a solution-based approach to solving problems and has 5 stages, namely Emphatize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test. Until the final stage after passing the test stage, it produces a package of Lele Skin Crackers which will become a promotional media.
