Abstract :
Car is one of the transportation that many people desire to have. Beside of the convinience side that it can offer to the costumers, it can also carry away many passangers including a lot of goods. So selecting to best car as a daily transportation became an absolute must for people nowadays. Mostly people needs to think about the criteria of the car they need for daily basis, for example from the number of family members aspect. As one of showroom alternative to public to give some car reccomendations that suitable for the criteria. A data mining-based with a web platform is required to recommend what types of car that the costumers need based on their criteria itself using Algorithm C4.5. This research begins with analyzed the requirements data, data processing, data design, coding and testing. In the end, the results of this reseach are the implementation of C4.5 algorthm method to give costumers recomendation to choose car types, as an option option there are sedan, suv and mpv. The writer collected the data from 100 costumers that has been taken accurately about 71%. Based on the results of this study C4.5. Algorthm is the right choise to predict car type recommendation with it features that already work and compatible with the writers has expected.
