Abstract :
ABSTRACT WINDY YUNITA FAMILIYA: Analysis of Moral Value and Character Building Exposed in Folklore of Batu Goloq Sasak Ethnic in West Nusa Tenggara on Idjasudin Prako’s Book. S1 Skripsi. Mataram: Bumigora University, 2021. This study discusses the moral values and character bilding exposed by the characters in the Batu Goloq folklore. The current study aims to describe the four forms of moral values and what the characters are like in the folklore. This study focuses on Daroesa's theory of moral values. Then the data analysis uses a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study show that there are four moral values inBatu Goloq folklore, namely the first is the moral value of human relations with God which can be seen by how they protect what has been given by God and see the power that God has given to humans, The second is the form of human moral values by himself is seen from how the characters in the story struggle and are responsible for their lives. Third, the form of human moral values with other humans is seen from how fellow humans need each other, the fourth form of moral value in human relations with the surrounding environment is seen from how the characters in the story take care of their environment. The character forms of the characters in the Batu Goloq folklore are hard workers, care for the environment, not easy to forgive, careless, loves their children, not easily discouraged, brave, love and protect each other.
