Abstract :
The development of information technology has touched almost all sectors, including the education sector. In the field of education, information technology has been used to support administrative services, the learning process and even the learning evaluation process using a computer or what is known as a Computer Based Test (CBT). In its implementation, the Computer Based Test (CBT) is different from the paper-based national exam system or Paper Based Test (PBT) that has been running so far (Kemdikbud, 2020). The existence of technology has helped the education sector become easier, more effective and efficient. SMK Islam Darussalam is one of the vocational schools that has the competence of Computer and Network Engineering expertise. Since 2017, SMK Islam Darussalam has carried out the National Examination with the Computer-Based National Examination (UNBK) system independently. Meanwhile, so far the school examination process at SMK Islam Darussalam is still using the Paper Based Test (PBT) system. In line with the wishes of the school to maximize and utilize the computer laboratories currently available, it is hoped that this research can provide benefits in the form of convenience, fluency and relief for schools, teachers and students in conducting school exams and add experience for writers related to Computer Based Tests. (CBT). Based on the analysis and test results, it can be concluded that the Computer Based Test (CBT) using Candy CBT as a medium for school exams at SMK Islam Darussalam was successfully carried out.
