Abstract :
ABSTRACT Village-owned enterprises (BUMDES) are village government agencies managed by the community and village government to strengthen the village economy. In the management of BUMDES, it cannot be separated from financial management, because financial management can see information about the financial flows that are owned. The problem that is being faced is that employees have difficulty in making financial reports, because in making employees still use the manual method. The purpose of this research is to build a desktop-based financial information system that can be used to store transaction data and create financial reports in BUMDES Desa Taman Sari. The methodology used in this research is the data collection methodology and the system development methodology using the waterfall model. The data collection methodology was carried out by observation, interviews and literature study. The waterfall stages used are system analysis, system design, system implementation and testing. For system testing using the blackbox method, namely functional testing carried out by researchers and usability testing, using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire which is distributed to 3 users. The result of this research is the desktop-based BUMDES Desa Taman Sari financial information system which functions properly according to the results of functional testing. The level of acceptance of the system developed is in accordance with the results of usability testing using the SUS model questionnaire against 3 examiners, namely 74.16, indicating that the system developed is acceptable and users are satisfied with the information system developed.
