Abstract :
Interactive learning media has many benefits in the learning process, one of which helps students in understanding the material. Based on observations made at the research site shows that the learning activities of teaching especially science lessons on the subject of the digestive system of food in humans still use methods such as using whiteboards, books, and props that are less practical and expensive so that students still find it difficult to imagine the process of the digestive system in humans. Therefore, this research aims to develop learning media in the form of android applications by utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) technology to show the process of digestion of food in humans in real time visualized in the form of 3D animation. Researchers developed this learning medium using luther-sutopo's development model Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Where this method consists of 6 (six) stages of development namely concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution. The results or output will be achieved in the form of food digestive system learning media application in humans using augmented reality technology run on android-based smartphones with a minimum version of 5.0 (Lollipop). The conclusion of the study shows that the media developed has qualified functionality and qualified for use as a media learning IPA on the subject of the digestive system of food in humans. This can be seen from the results of the tests conducted by the researchers and the results of the percentage of tests conducted by some respondents, where the results of the questionnaire 30% expressed strongly agree, 68% disagreed and 2% disagreed. Based on these results shows that the application can be used as a learning medium in understanding the digestive process of food in humans.
