Abstract :
Family medicinal plants (Toga) is a medicinal plant that grows in the yard of the house and can be used as medicine for first aid for families who have difficulty getting access to hospitals or health services. The low level of public knowledge about the types of Toga and its benefits makes people less use of Toga as the medicine of choice. One method that can be used to avoid plant species is the Deep Learning method. By using the Seamese Neural Network, a Deep Learning approach that contains an input field that compares two patterns and produces one output whose value corresponds to two patterns. Android smartphones are an option in implementing Siamese Neural Network because people's lives nowadays make it easier to carry out their daily activities. Based on these problems, the authors are interested in building an application that implements the Siamese Neural Network for Android-based leaf-based plant identification. Research and development methodology The application of this research is to use the Waterfall method which is a systematic and sequential information system development model. The methodological stages in this research are Needs Analysis, Design Analysis, Coding and Testing. The results achieved in the research and development of this application are applications that are able to identify family medicinal plants based on leaves. Implementing Siamese Neural Network on Android smartphones as a method to identify plants based on leaves. Based on the research conducted, it has given results in the form of Siamese Neural Network that can be implemented on Android-based smartphones and applications are able to identify plants based on leaves.
