Abstract :
Server is a media that has an important role in providing access services for its users, so that it can be used optimally. In this study, researchers designed a Virtual Private Server (VPS) on the CentOS Web Panel using Xen Server which as the goal is to use a Virtual Private Server (VPS) to increase server effectiveness. This research was conducted using the concept of virtual private server services using centos web panel. With virtual private server technology using centos web panel, system administrators can use one server to create many virtual servers for different needs. This makes server usage more effective and efficient and no resource is wasted because it is not used. then each server usage will use for each administrator with different authentication settings Based on these problems, researchers can apply the Centos Web Panel on a Virtual Private Server created on the Xen Server hypervisor. The methodology used in this study is the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC). There are 3 (three) stages used, namely Analysis, Design, and Simulation Prototyping. In the analysis stage, data collection and data analysis were carried out. At the design stage, test network design, IP addressing, system workflow design and hardware and software requirements are carried out. In the simulation stage, the prototyping contains the configuration installation on each server service and the CentOS Web Panel, testing and analysis of test results. There are 2 test scenarios carried out including services on the internet service mail server and File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Server. The results of this research are that the author can provide convenience in server management because there is no need to have a server that makes more financing, and there is also no need to do private server service management manually because it will automatically be managed by tools from the centos web panel. .
