Abstract :
The development of the educational process is in line with the development of existing information technology, where the development of computer networks is currently very easy because of the large number of internet providers available. However, if the devices and topologies that are applied do not match the existing plans or conditions, then some problems will occur. it could interfere with the existing educational process, one of which is the Gde Pudja Mataram State College of Hinduism. In this PTN, the use of the network has been implemented using several network devices with the topology applied, but it is still ineffective because there are still many complaints from the existing academic community, this is due to a lack of analysis of the needs of each academic community which is one of the causes Thisuses themethod top-down network design researchso that researchers start working from the top OSI layer where the researcher analyzes the needs of each academic community which will then be applied according to the flow of the method used and analyze the parameters Quality of Services relating to problems that occur. The conclusion of this study is that by using themethod top-down network design, it is able to improve the quality of the connectivity of the reach of the access point so that no more deadzones occur, thus minimizing the problems that will occur.
