Abstract :
Teaching and learning process The development of science and technology is so fast over time, especially information which is now increasingly dominating the world. Information presentation has been made as efficient and comfortable as possible using current technology. like Augmented Reality (AR). Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that can combine a 3D object into a real environment using smartphone media. In this case the author will apply Augmented Reality technology to the science subject book in Semester 1 CHAPTER 2 for class VII on Bacteria which refers to the K13 curriculum included in the Classification of Living Things. Application of Augmented Reality Science book CHAPTER 2 Semester 1 so that students can see the model and shape of micro organisms, bacterial organisms. In making this learning media the author uses the Luther-Sutopo method which is a multimedia development workflow through several stages, namely concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. This method can be used in various multimedia interaction projects because of the appropriate steps or flow of processing. The result or output to be achieved is Augmented Reality as a Learning Aid Media for SMPN 4 Gunungsari Kec. gunungsari which can build interest in teaching and learning. With this technology, students and teachers can teach or students learn effectively and efficiently in the classroom. The conclusion of this thesis is to provide students and teachers with the teaching and learning process through Augmented Reality technology as an assistive medium for the school.
