Abstract :
The increasing use of the internet in the business world encourages the growing and variety of content on the internet. The large amount of content available makes users have to remember a number of different usernames and passwords for each content that requires authentication or login.This becomes an obstacle when the user does not remember a username and password. In this problem, it raises the hope of a centralized authentication system (Single-sign-on) to bridge the access to existing information systems. The application of Simple Authentication and Security Layer (SAML) can allow a system to use one username and password to access multiple webs or applications that require authentication, Saml is an open standard protocol for authentication and authorization between service providers and identity providers (Identity Provider). OpenLDAP will assist in implementing Single-Sign-On problems related to centralized authentication systems. The use of LDAP is part of the Internet Protocol. OpenLDAP is also equipped with SASL to check and ensure whether a user is entitled and allowed to enter or not. That's why LDAP is also widely used for "single sign on. With the existence of OpenLDAP and SAML as a type of centralized authentication, it can provide convenience to users in the form of centralized username and password management to make it easier for users to log in to existing information systems.
