Abstract :
Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi dan mengetahui fungsi dan perkembangan dari Lokananta Records terhadap industri rekaman musik di Indonesia pada Lokananta Records, Surakarta. Dengan teori acuan fungsi menurut Bigelow dan Pargetter dalam Jurnal A Theory Of Structural Universal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan historis, proses pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lokananta Records, Solo. Objek penelitian ini adalah Lokananta Records. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Lokananta Records adalah sebuah perusahaan negara yang bekerja dibidang produksi piringan hitam, kaset dan rekaman suara. Lokananta Records sejak awal berdiri hingga sekarang telah mengalami banyak perkembangan serta fungsi. Sejak 1956-1960 Lokananta merupakan penyalur hasil siaran dari RRI seluruh Indonesia. Selain dikenal sebagai pabrik piringan hitam, Lokananta Records mulai membuat studio rekaman pada 1970, namun pada 1980 Lokananta Records melakukan riset hingga ke BBC London, Inggris dan menghasilkan kualitas akustik menyerupai stasiun siaran tersebut. Lokananta Records banyak menyimpan arsip bersejarah, mulai dari pidato Presiden Soekarno dalam konfrensi Asia-Afrika, Indonesia Raya 3 stanza, sampai souvernir Asean Games IV tahun 1962 dalam berupa piringan hitam. Sejak tahun 1956-2020 Lokananta Records telah mengalami perkembangan baik secara institusional maupun hasil produksinya. Secara institusional Lokananta Recods berada dibawah naungan Departemen Penerangan tahun 1956-2004 namun berkembang menjadi dibawah Kementerian BUMN dan Perum Percetakan Negara sejak tahun 2004-2020. Hal ini terjadi juga pada hasil produksi, berawal dengan memproduksi piringan hitam sampai pita kaset, cd dan juga melakukan proses rekaman suara maupun musik. Hingga saat ini Lokananta Records masih sebagai satu-satunya studio rekaman milik pemerintah Indonesia . Sehingga keterlibatan Lokananta Records dalam dunia industri musik di Indonesia mempunyai nilai historis. The purpose of this study is to provide data and to know the function and progress of Lokananta Records on the music recording industry in Indonesia at Lokananta Records, Surakarta. With reference theory Of function according to Bigelow and Pargetter in the journal Of A Theory Of Structural Universal The method used in this research is a qualitatively descriptive method with an historical approach, the process of collecting data covering interviews, library studies and documentation. The research was conducted at Lokananta Records, Solo. Kujungi Research is Lokananta Records The results derived from this research show that Lokananta Records is a company of the country that works in the production of vinyl records, tapes and sound recordings. Lokananta Records Since its inception is now a lot of developments and functions. Since 1956-1960 Lokananta is a distributor of broadcast results from RRI throughout Indonesia. In addition to being known as the Black disc factory, Lokananta Records started to create a recording studio in 1970, but by 1980 Lokananta Records did research into BBC London, Manke and the quality You resembled the broadcast station. Lokananta Records Many Mcnyimpan historical archives, starting from the speech of President Sukarno in the Asia-Africa Conference, Indonesia Raya 3 Stanza, until the international participation of ASEAN Games IV in 1962 in the form of a vinyl. Institutionally Lokananta Recods is a property of the Department of Illumination in the year 1956-2004, but developed into the state of the Ministry of State-owned enterprises and Perum printing countries since 2004-2020. This happened also in the production, started by producing a vinyl record to tape tapes, CDS and also perform the recording of sound and music. Currently Lokananta Records is still the only record studio owned by the Indonesian government. So the involvement of Lokananta Records in the world of music industry in Indonesia has historical value.
