Abstract :
This research is intended to know students? perception towards presentation
activity of the courses that taken at English department of Universitas Jambi. The
research method was descriptive quantitative research. The samples of this
research were 93 English education study program students? in the seventh
semester for academic year 2016/2017 at Universitas Jambi. The instrument to
collect the data was questionnaire, consisted of 18 questions. In analyzing the
data, the questionnaires were counted by Likert?s scale rating. To find the
students? perception toward presentation activity the researcher used SPSS.
The finding of the research has provided a lot of information concerning the
students? perception interest about presentation activity at English Department
especially for seventh semester students. In conclusion the students? are very
interested in presence of presentation activity in learning English.
