Abstract :
Peritonitis is peritoneal inflammation-the lining of the
serous membrane of the abdominal cavity and includes the
viscera (Brunner & Suddart 2002) Peritonitis is an
inflammation of the peritoneal cavity that may be primary
or secondary, acute or chronic and is caused by bacterial or
chemical peritoneal capacity contamination (Doengoes et
al. 2000). Peritonitis is an inflammation of the peritoneum
of a membrane lining the abdominal cavity. Peritonitis
usually results from bacterial entry of the gastrointestinal
tract or abdominal organs into the perumenium space
through bowel perforation or an organ rupture. (Nugroho,
et al., 2016)
