Abstract :
Hybrid rice farming is an effort to increase rice productivity in order to
meet domestic rice needs. This study aimed to analyze: (1) the difference of cost
of f hybrid and inbred ric farming, (2) the difference of productivity of hybrid and
inbred rice, (3) the difference of profit of hybrid and inbred rice farming. The
research used comparative and descriptive methods at Tegaldlimo District,
Banyuwangi Regency. The data used were primary and secondary data and
analyzed using productivity and profit analysis and then compared using the Z
test. Inbreds per planting season, the cost of farming hybrid rice was Rp.
11,185,541 higher than in rice, which was Rp. 10,521,727, (2) there was a
statistically significant difference at the 1% test level between the productivity of
hybrid and inbred rice farming, -The productivity of hybrid rice was 8,337 kg / ha
higher than inhybrid rice, which was 6,436 kg / ha, (3) there was a statistically
significant difference at the 1% test level between the benefits of hybrid and
inhybrid rice farming, the benefits of hybrid rice was Rp. 18,960 .172 / ha higher
than inhybrid which was Rp. 11,279,204 / ha.
