Abstract :
2013 curriculum learning in Indonesia still needs to be supported by innovative learning modeles, one of which is the ASICC learning strategy. This study aims to determine the relationship between metacognition skills and student understanding. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research design with Pretest-Posttest Non Equivalent Control Group Design This study uses regression analysis to determine the effect of metacognition skills and conceptual understanding. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of metacognition skills on concept understanding that is equal to 87.1%.
