Abstract :
The objective of this research is to find out the amount of water needs at the irrigation area and at each of the rice fields. The object of this research is Pantangolemba village, and the data used are in the form of primary and secondary data. The primary data is in the form of village map, while the secondary data gained from the data of rainfall, irrigation water channel debit, and infiltration rate. The result shows that the rice field water needs is lesser than the water needs of irrigation area. The difference of water needs in a year, rice fields preparation until harvest time, is 688,15 mm/day. The amount of water needs at the growth time of preparation fields phase is Q= 103,36/day, at the planting rime is Q = 103,4 mm/day, at the filled rice phase is Q = 123,15 mm/day, and at the approaching harvest time is Q = 215,05 mm/day. The average amount of water needs of rice fields is Q = 136,15 mm/day.
