Abstract :
Renewable energy is an option for the development of all existing resources that make energy
environmentally friendly. The utilization of existing resources is very important to support the
increasing energy needs. One of its uses is to use Piezoelektric PZT-type to produce electrical
energy from mechanical energy produced from wind. By utilizing a wind turbine that rotates
on its axis as a medium for converting mechanical energy. This study used 20 Piezoelectrics
arranged with a paralel series configuration and had AC Output converted to DC using a Bridge
Diode. The output that is scored to get a low value will be increased using a boost converter.
Measurement of current and voltage using a multimeter for each parameter of the study. This
study used wind speeds of 6.1 m/s, 6.5 m/s, and 6.9 m/s with wind speeds of 20 cm, 30cm, and
40 cm. Based on the results of the analysis using wind intensity, the largest output produced
from the prototype was 3.54V and 0.86 A with a power of 0.003044 watts found in a wind
intensity of 6.9 m / s with a distance of 20 cm. Wind speed greatly affects the output of
Piezoelectric. The faster the rotation of the feeding turbine, the more intensive the Piezoelectric
bat will move and the more vibrations the Piezoelectric receives resulting in a large output.
