Abstract :
The objectives of this research are (1) analyze the factors influence the production response and response of paddy supply in South Sumatra Province. (2) analyze the supply response of paddy to changes in labor wages and paddy prices in South Sumatra Province. In the research on Analysis of supply response paddy is performed intechnical irrigated rice fields, tidal rice fields and swampy wetland fields, each of which is typologically represented by Ogan Komering Ulu Timur (OKUT), Banyuasin and Ogan Komering Ilir. This research was implemented by june 2018 until finished. Data collected consisted of secondary data.This study uses historical methods. As for the conclusions in this study are the price of rice had a significant effect on the response area in the three land typologies. In response to the area's offer to prices it is known that in technical irrigation land, tides and swamp swamps are inelastic. In the production response to the price of rice in technical irrigation land, tides and swamp swamps are inelastic. In the production response to the area it is known that technical irrigation, tides and swamp swamps are elastic. In the elasticity of long-term rice supply for the response of production to the price of rice is elastic and for the elasticity of the supply of production to the known area in the technical irrigation land, tides and swamp swamps are elastic.In the elasticity of long-term labor wage supply for the elasticity of production supply for areas in technical irrigation land, tides and swamp swamps are elastic.
