Abstract :
CO2 emissions generated during the process of making a hot mix asphalt cause the increase of global warming in the world. To reduce the global warming impact of using the asphalt mixture, Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA) method can be used. Using the WMA method, the temperature of the asphalt can be lowered by 20-40°C. Admixture is needed to increase the quality of WMA which usually is not as good as HMA. admixture can reduce the viscosity of asphalt while increasing the volume of asphalt in lower temperature. This research method is done in laboratory by testing the material and visual observations. The percentage of wax used is 1% by weight of asphalt and zeolite used by 1% by weight of aggregate. This researched is based on the General Spesification Bina Marga 2018 code. The research is about the Asphalts Optimum Value Levels characteristics on the laston warm asphalt mixture using the Marshall Immersion method and Cantabro Test. The output of Standard Marshall and immersion test results from each mixture is the percentage value of the safety index remaining on the specimens of WMAC-WC, WMAC-BC, and WMAC-Base layers using variation of zeolite additives 94.12%, 96.5%, and 95.98%. The percentage values of the remaining strength index in the test material for each layer using wax additives obtained are 93.85%, 93.29%, and 94.79%.The output of Cantabro test results from each mixture is the average value of wear on the last mixture of warm mix asphalt with wax additives is superior in each layer of WMAC-WC, WMAC-BC, and WMAC-Base that is 6.67%, 6.13% and 9.15%, while the zeolite additives were with an average wear rate of 8.50%, 8.15%, and 10.22%.
