Abstract :
PT. Ulima Nitra, Tbk is a coal mining company located in Muara Enim, South Sumatra. Coal mining activities are carried out using digging and loading equipment in the form of 1 unit of Volvo EC480DL excavator and 1 unit of Komatsu PC850 excavator. And hauling equipment in the form of UD Quester CWE280 dump trucks as many as 13 units. The coal production target in 2021 is 1.553.000 tons/year, but in reality the production target cannot be achieved in February and March. The purpose of this study was to obtain the productivity of excavating and hauling equipment,match factor value, the factors that cause unreachable coal production and evaluation of efforts to increase the productivity of transport equipment to achieve production targets every month and match factor value after repair. The data taken in the field consists of the cycle time of the excavating and hauling equipment, the amount of coal filling in the conveyance and supporting data of the company. In this study, the analysis and calculation productivity of excavating and hauling equipments is carried out to further evaluate and repair efforts. The results of the evaluation of the productivity of excavating and hauling equipment showed that the productivity of the excavator did not experience problems, but the productivity of the hauling equipment did not reach the company's target plan, this was due to the low job efficiency and loading of coal in the dump truck CWE Quester280 with match factor <1. As for the efforts made to increase the productivity of hauling equipment by increasing effective work time by improving obstacles that can be avoided such as minimizing stopping work before rest, working late after rest and stopping work before working hours are finished so job efficiency increases from 59 % to 64 %. So the productivity of hauling equipment is increased from 1.283.066,87 tons to 1.643.065,75 tons.
