Abstract :
Weaving Sections is a way that have waeve move direction forming
intersecting or Crossing on it, this movement sometimes happens when a vehicle
moves from one line to another, for example it goes to highway from pathway, then moves
to another line to take the way out of the pathway, this sections makes a
serious problem an that way especially happens on the peak hour, which are so many
vehicle pass on it. So the writer analyzes weaving sections problems and the
altematives on Merdeka- Agung Moscjue?s Street including, vehicle s speed, density,
and Level Of Service (LOS) using methodelogy of Highway Capacity Manual
analyzing. On the merdeka-agung Mosque?s Street have two weaving sections, they
multiple weaving and single weaving, and then the results analysis weaving
sections show there?s problem the lowest of level of Service. LOS E for Multiple
Weaving, and LOS C on single weaving. And some altematives can do is adding
one lane for weaving sections and decrease vehicles volume. And the result from the
altematives are get adding one lane is good for weaving sections, because for
decreasing vehicles volume need deep of research.
