Abstract :
This research aims to analyze the effect of work discipline on the performance of employees at Dinas pariwisata Palembang City. A quantitative approach was used in this study. The data used is the census data that takes the entire sample of 103 employees. This study uses data collection techniques questionnaire with 103 respondents. The results of the research conducted using empirical test results on a simple linear regression showed that lead discipline (X) effect on performance (Y) in Dinas Pariwisata Palembang City. A simple linear regression analysis results obtained Y=0,906+0,576X+e, meaning if there is an increase in the work discipline of 1 point, then going to increase employees performance of 0,576. The coefficient of determination = 0,736 means that work discipline significant effects 73,6% on employees performance. Discipline directly influence employment to creating a good performance. Thus, the leader should be able to improve employee discipline that will produce a maximum work.
