Abstract :
Landfills is onc of the community final disposal site, is a place where garbage reached the final stage in its management.
Drainage infrastructurc in landfills is very important, esspecially when the rain season, in case the drainage of the landfills
arca is not working propcrly, will result in water puddle and flooding and leachate as a result of rain run-off water that
trapped in the waste/garbage pile. The study was conducted to evaluate the performance of existing drainage channels
whether it can funetion optimally in reducing the inundition occurrcd. The maximum rainfall data used is 10 years rainfall
data, to be analyzed in the frequcncy of retum period of 5 years and 10 years. Based on the statical parameters of the best
mateh with maximum daily rainfall distribution follow the Gumbel distribution. The the flood diseharge calculated by
rational methods. There is also the result of calculation in the retum period of 5 years at 1.06 and the 10 years retum period
of 1.17. And comparativc analysis with the analysis of existing capacity calculation shows AB channel exceed the existing
capacity, AB channel improvement planning dimensions for a retum period of 10 years that is b = 1.0 meters, H = 1.5 meters
with a hcight flow of 1.2 m. Also planned to 1 (one) new channel on sub catchment area 1 with dimensions b = 1 m, H = 0.7
m, where the diseharge plan = 0.3140 cubic meters per second.
