Abstract :
This study aims to examine the impact of industrial concentration on the performance of the bottled water industry (AMDK) in Sumatra Island. The research utilized secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency spanning the years 2008 to 2012. Both descriptive qualitative and quantitative analyses were employed to analyze the data. The findings indicate that the bottled water sector (AMDK) in Sumatra Island exhibits a relatively low level of concentration, with an average CR4 value of 66.41 percent. Additionally, the packaging efficiency of the drinking water industry (AMDK) is considered efficient, with an annual average of 1.60 percent. The concentration of bottled drinking water (AMDK) provides benefits for the island of Sumatra.
