Abstract :
Indonesia still has malnutrition. However, obesity and an increase in nutrition- related non-communicable diseases, such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, coronary heart disease, and stroke also occur. Low consumption of fruits and vegetables is one of the factors that contribute to childhood obesity and overweight. This is because one of the factors is the lack of knowledge and attitude. To increase the knowledge and attitudes of elementary school students regarding fruit and vegetable intake, especially in the Working Area of the Tanjung Enim Health Center. This research is quantitative by using a quasi-experimental research design and a pretest-posttest design with a control group design. The sample of this research was 44 respondents in the experimental group and 52 respondents in the control group. The time of the study was carried out for 1 month with 3 interventions. Sampling using a total sampling technique. The results showed that the average knowledge of respondents in the experimental group and the control group had a p-value of 0.000, which means that there was a difference in the average knowledge and attitude scores before and after being given education using snakes and ladders media and PowerPoint. The p-value is 0.013 which means that there is a difference in the average knowledge score in the experimental group and the control group. However, the p-value is 0.063 which means that there is no difference in the average attitude score in the experimental group and the control group. Researchers suggest that snakes and ladders educational media can be an alternative learning media in increasing fruit and vegetable consumption in elementary school children
