Abstract :
This study aims to determine the role of self-awareness to life satisfaction in bidikmisi students at X University. This research hypothesis that there is a role of self-awareness of life satisfaction in bidikmisi students at X University The population of this study is that the bidikmisi students X University was 3500 person. The research sample was 150 person and for the try out was 50 person. The study used quota sampling technique. Measuring instrument use scale self-awareness and life satisfaction by referring to the self-awareness aspects of Thomasson (2015) and aspects of life satisfaction of Diener, et al (1999). The research used simple regression. The result obtained by value of R= 0.610, R square= 0.372, F= 87.529, P = 0.000 (p <0.05). It proved that self-awareness has a significant role of 37.2% towards life satisfaction. Thus, the hypothesis is accepted.
