Abstract :
99mTc-pertehnetat is useful for treatment accompanied by information on dosing to the human body. This study aims to determine the estimated dose of 99mTc Pertehnetat radiopharmaceutical in children aged 1-15 years. This research method was carried out based on the mice biodistribution test with time intervals of 0.5, 1, 3, 5, 24 hours after radiopharmaceutical injection. From the biodistribution test results, it was obtained %ID/gram of mouse organs, converted to %ID/gram of human organs. After that, the calculation results were inputted into the OLINDA/EXM software by observing the differences in effective doses for children aged 1-15 years. Based on the value of %ID/gram of human organs, each uptake activity at post-injection time intervals resulted from the highest organs, namely, muscles, liver, lungs, and stomach. The results of the comparison of effective doses of OLINDA/EXM using t animals and t humans can be seen that the results obtained resulted in an effective dose value that was smaller than after being converted to t humans. The average absorbed dose from the highest organs in OLINDA/EXM is in the thyroid, stomach, lungs and. Effective dose results obtained for 1 year old 1,11×10-2 mSv/MBq, 5 year 6,01×10-3 mSv/MBq , 10 year 3,96×10-3mSv/MBq and 15 years 2,50×10-3mSv/MBq. Therefore, the effective dose generated is greater for younger patients.
