Abstract :
This study aims to understand, identify and analyze community participation and the factors that influence the implementation of the climate village program (proklim) in the Talang Powder Village, Palembang City. The type of research applied is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach and uses data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. Participation in the context of this study includes 2 dimensions, namely forms of community participation and factors that influence community participation. This study found that the most dominant form of community participation in the implementation of proklim in the Talang Powder Village was the form of participation of personnel, skills, and proficiency so that it could support the sustainability of the proklim in the Talang Powder Village. Meanwhile, the participation of thoughts, property, and social activities has not been dominant in the implementation of the climate village program, so it must be considered again by the Talang Powder Village and the Palembang City Environmental Service. Psychological, social, and economic motives were the supporting factors in the implementation of proklim, however, on the other hand, economic motives were also an inhibiting factor in the implementation of proklim in Talang Powder Village, Palembang City.
